I would like to share my experience in having blog, the advantages of having blog and the steps of designing my blog.
I interested in having a blog when I was in junior high school. I was really enjoyed when designing my blog. It was such a great experience to have at my age. I learned many things such as how to start my blog by reading several tips about how to create a new blog for a beginner. The way of how the writers explain make me learn step by step about it. I followed the article which looked easy and provided the pictures of those steps. I am a person who easily learned by visual rather than read the instructions. Learning something by pictures was much easier to understand. The others experience of designing blog was the freedom that given by the Blogspot platform for the writer. I created my blog like my taste. I choose everything which good at me.
Having blog is interesting. There are some advantages of having blog. For the person who having taste in writing, blog is a good place in which increase your writing because we are not only post our writing here but we can enjoy the way of writing. As a beginner of writer, I act as professional writer when writing an article in order to make myself proud of what I will write even though the written is worse. In blog I can post any kind of written and look it back in a few years later. Blog can be as personal online data saver. I can follow many blog competitions by having my own blog. It is not only for post my written but I can challenge myself to develop and upgrade my writing skill by joining blog competition. In addition, blog is a recommendation for the beginner because it quite easy to operate and the important thing is free. There is no cost in create a new blog, but if we want to earn money we have to buy a domain which cost money.
There some steps of designing my blog.
1. I thought about what was the title should I write as my blog’s name. I thought many times and Faridita was a good idea. It’s my name Farida+Ita. After that, I asked to create the address of my blog, then I wrote fariditaakmal@blogspot.com.
2. After complete, those two required, my blog was ready to post anything I like.
3. To make my blog look beautiful, I decorate my blog by changing the theme. There are eleven themes provided there. I choose the simple one for my very first blog.
4. After that, I choose the template of my blog to make it easy to look by me and by my reader. I decorate the header, the body and add some personal information in the feature of my blog.
5. When I think the feature of the blog was good, I continued to settings of the blog. I write a short introduction in description box there to make everyone who visits my blog know the purpose of this blog.
6. The last, I wrote many things in the blog and if those articles look good I will happy to post it. If I think those articles need some improvement I will keep it in the draft.
